Delete your Golf Glory account

You can delete your Golf Glory account at any time. Account deletion is permanent.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)

1. Open the Golf Glory app and sign in.
2. Tap the Settings tab (gear icon on your profile).
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Read the warning, type DELETE in the confirmation field, and tap Permanently delete account.

Your account and the associated personal data will be deleted from our systems immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@golfglory.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify your identity and delete the account within 7 business days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account we delete or anonymize:

• Your account credentials (email, password hash).
• Profile data: display name, phone, bio, home course, handicap, date of birth, and avatar.
• Your scorecards, hole scores, and matches.
• Chat messages you have sent and chat threads you participated in.
• Friend connections and friend requests.
• Push notification tokens.
• Match invitations, join requests, and inbox notifications.
• Trophies and rankings.
• Moderation reports you submitted or that targeted you.

What is retained (and why)

We may retain the following on an anonymized basis where required by law or to protect the integrity of the Service:

• Audit logs and security records — kept for a limited period and stripped of identifying information.
• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics derived from your usage prior to deletion.
