Frequently asked questions
How do I record a round?
Open the Matches tab → Create Match → choose your format (stroke play, match play, scramble, or free-for-all), pick a course, and invite friends. After tee-off, tap into the match to enter scores hole by hole.
What scoring formats does Golf Glory support?
Stroke play, match play, scramble, and free-for-all. Stroke play / scramble / free-for-all use gross scores only — handicap is shown on your profile but not applied to match results. Match play is scored hole by hole.
How do friend rankings work?
When you complete a match against a friend, your friend leaderboard recalculates automatically. You can view rankings on the Leaderboard tab.
I'm not receiving the verification email.
Verification codes are sent from noreply@golfglory.app. Check your spam folder. If you still don't receive it after a few minutes, email us at support@golfglory.app and we'll help.
Why am I seeing ads?
Golf Glory is a free app supported by Google AdMob banner ads on the bottom of certain screens. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions — the ads keep the app free for everyone.
How do I block or report another user?
Open their profile or chat thread, tap the menu (three dots), and choose Block, Mute, or Report. Reports are reviewed by our moderators.
Can I change my email or password?
Password changes are available from Settings → Security. Email address changes aren't currently supported in-app — contact support@golfglory.app and we'll handle it for you.
How do I delete my account?
From within the app, go to Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts. You can also visit golfglory.app/account-deletion for instructions.
